NSA Extends 2026/2027 National Service Registration Deadline to October 23
The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the National Service registration deadline for the 2026/2027 service year. The new deadline is Friday, October 23, 2026. The previous deadline was October 15.
Why the NSA Extended the Deadline
The NSA announced the extension in a statement on Friday, October 16. It said the move gives eligible National Service Personnel (NSPs) more time to complete their registration. Personnel who have not finished the process can now do so within the revised timeframe.
NSA Urges Personnel to Act Now
The Authority urged all affected personnel to finalise their registration. It also cautioned them against missing the new deadline. Furthermore, it asked them to follow the prescribed registration procedures and complete every required step.
“All affected personnel are therefore urged to take advantage of this extension and complete their registration before Friday, October 23, 2026, to avoid any inconvenience associated with missing the deadline,” the statement said.
What the Extension Means for Registrants
The extension gives outstanding registrants more time to meet the requirements for the 2026/2027 service year.

NSA Promises a Smooth Process
The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to a smooth and efficient registration process. “The National Service Authority remains committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for all eligible National Service Personnel,” the statement concluded.
